Empowering Dealer Partnerships: Industry Visit to Kapsen Tyres
Our Sunlun Group of Companies recently organized an industry visit to Kapsen, our global tyre brand partner based in Shandong, China from 26 – 30 October 2025, which provided our tyre dealers with a unique opportunity to explore Kapsen’s expansive 550,000 sqm operations.
What was the main purpose of our Kapsen visit?
The successful study tour led by our Managing Director, Datuk Philip Lau, brought together 23 delegates from our Kapsen dealer network in Malaysia – combining factory insights, business learning and cultural experiences aimed at deepening understanding of Kapsen’s technology and manufacturing excellence, while further strengthening our valued business partnerships.
What were the highlights of our Kapsen visit?
The visit offered delegates a firsthand look at Kapsen R&D Center and Technology Factory in Guangrao County, which showcased a vast array of state-of-the art tyre production equipment from Japan, Germany, America and Italy, backed by Kapsen’s commitment to global quality standards through international accreditations including ISO 9001, DOT, ECE, GCC and more.
Delegates also participated in a business dialogue session with Kapsen representatives, where open discussions on market outlook, strategic cooperation, growth trends and dealer support fostered cohesive synergy pivotal to advancing excellence in the fast-paced tyre market.
Beyond the business agenda, delegates then immersed themselves in Shandong’s rich cultural and scenic treasures – from educational tour at Sun Tzu Cultural Park in Guangrao County to the iconic landmarks of Mount Laoshan, Zhanqiao Pier and Badaguan Scenic Area in Qingdao City – fostering close camaraderie while relishing China’s grand heritage and artistic charm.
